Cinnamon twist sticks
This is a wonderful treat you can make right on a small piece of tree branch. Using pre-made cinnamon biscuit dough, stretch and wrap it around the stick in a twist. Roast it like a marshmallow over the fire until the center is cooked, sprinkle with cinnamon and eat.
The Classic S’mores
S’mores and more S’mores please! Classic s’mores require a square of sweet chocolate, a marshmallow and two graham crackers. Sandwich them all together and heat. This is a fun recipe for kids and adults.
Coal-baked Orange Cakes
Cut the top off an orange and remove most of the center. Fill the center with cake batter, put the top back on and wrap in foil. Bake covered in coals for 20 minutes for a wonderful treat.
Warmed honey and cider
A little warmed honey and cider can go a long way! Warm the honey on the coals using a covered metal pot, and warm the cider in another one. Mix the two and add cinnamon for the perfect country living treat.
